Course description

The FinTech CTO program comprises 22 modules, featuring 12 theoretical segments exploring various industry aspects and 10 practical modules with hands-on architectures and demos, as indicated in orange.

We covered an introduction to banking and explored various banking segments in Modules 1 and 2. In Module 3, the focus shifts to capital markets, supported by the technical insights in Module 14, which covers trading platforms, architecture patterns, and demonstrations.
The following modules examine key areas such as payments, wealth and investment management, retail banking, open banking standards, and cross-cutting concerns discussed in Module 8. Additional specialized topics include anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, and mainframe modernization.
The final module, Module 12, focuses on FinTech business models and architecture.

Today’s session centers on capital markets—the largest module in the course. It is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of this critical financial sector and the technologies driving its evolution. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and technical skills needed to succeed as a technologist in the dynamic world of global financial services.
